The eleven-song collection, which includes 6 original songs penned by Tracey, begins with the prologue song "Reflections of Love...A Fable," a unique spoken-word offering. Our storyteller is deeply in love by Act 6, with the Barry White classic song, "I'm Gonna Love You Just a Little More." But by Act 8, we listen helplessly to the heartbreaking end of the affair in "A Woman in Love." On the haunting Act 9 anthem, "Angry Men," our narrator attempts to understand the battle of the sexes and make peace with herself. Not to worry, however, as hope springs eternal with the a capella epilogue song "Ordinary Day."

"I'd become disenchanted with a lot of what I've been hearing in today's market, and like most adults I wasn't connecting with Hip-Hop and I really couldn't relate to Rap," Tracey says. "I found myself searching for music adults could relate to." This CD offers just that: grown-up music for grown-up people."

As for her first solo offering, Tracey Whitney, a life-long performer, admits: "I wrote several of the songs for myself, and I performed them for myself. Now I want to share them with the many people I believe will understand and appreciate the universality of the loves, hurts and little triumphs and tragedies that color our lives."
